Service Description: Adult day program * Socialization and Mental Health Support Group for older adults

Members are are provided with opportunities to socialize, develop friendships, and engage in leisure, education and wellness activities in a safe, structured and supportive setting

Activities include:
  • creative arts
  • exercises and physically active group games
  • board games, puzzles and cards
  • entertainment, singing & dancing
  • billiards
  • computer games and iPad activities
  • laughter yoga and meditation
  • baking
  • birthday, holiday and multi-cultural celebrations
  • Bingo
  • inter-generational activities

Fees: Program: $10 * fee assistance available; Transportation: $16 (return trip)

Eligibility / Target Population: Isolated adults over 60 living with a mental health diagnosis and/or mental health challenges * Applicants with a diagnosis of dementia (if eligible) may be referred on to the Dementia Adult Day Program
