Service Description: A network of 62 organizations and over 600 individuals working together to eliminate the effects of child poverty in a manner that is empowering and inclusive

Works using a 3 pronged approach: * public education * advocacy * practical assistance through various programs created to help local children in need

Tools for School: provides backpacks, school supplies and shoes

Operation Snowsuit: collects and redistributes gently used and new snowsuits, boots, hats and gloves

Harmony for Renfrew County: offers art-based lessons to youth (12-18 yrs) using the pay-it forward model * creation and delivery of a School Inclusion Project in 8 schools, to assist with some school fees

Good EGG Program: Is supporting schools to build edible gardens, so that all children can learn to grow and have the opportunity to eat healthy nutritious food

Meetings: Steering committee meets 4-6 times per year * other committees : Operation Snowsuit * Poverty Reduction Strategy * Fundraising * Festival of Trees
Fees: None * grants, fundraisers and donations as well as strong volunteer support. Please contact us if you can help by donating items, skills or funding
