Service Description:

Nurse practitioners providing women in the community who do not have a primary care provider to receive basic healthcare services including:

medical history questionaire
Well Woman exams, including Pap and breast examiniation
prescriptions for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and birth control options
notification of any abnormal tests and appropriate referral if required
initial prenatal assessments and referrals
insertion of intrauterine devices such as Mirena and Kyleena
insertion of Nexplanon implants
ordering of mammograms or provision of number to register for the Ontario Breast Screening Program
