Service Description: Adult/child mentoring program * provides a positive role model to children in need * volunteers are screened and matched with little brothers/sisters

Application: Applicants to be Big Brothers/Sisters must undergo a police check, provide references, have an in-person interview and complete an orientation and child safety program
Eligibility / Target Population: Children 6-16 years old needing a positive role model * adult volunteers must be 18 years and older * traditional one-to-one and Couples for Kids matches require a commitment of 2-3 hours a week * in-school mentors are asked to commit to 1 hour a week, during the school year on school property * Big for A Day volunteers come out for an activity once a month and are matched with a Waiting Little
