Service Description:
|
Relieves distress and promotes the well-being of Members and Former Members of the Naval Forces of Canada and their dependents * provides grants, loans and bursaries to those in need

Application:
|
Eligible applicants serving in the Canadian Armed Forces should apply through their Commander or his representative as laid down in local orders. All other applications for assistance should be made through the Department of Veterans Affairs, Royal Canadian Legions or Naval Organizations
|
|
Eligibility / Target Population:
|
* Former or serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces who have one year service in Maritime Command or the RCN;
* Former or serving members of the Royal Canadian Navy, providing they completed basic training;
* Former or serving members of the Naval Reserve who have completed basic training;
* Former members of the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service;
* Canadian Merchant Navy War Veterans;
* Dependants of any individual who qualifies for assistance as described above
