The goal is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with brain injuries by providing the necessary support to help them live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety, health, and well-being * Services are not suitable for persons requiring intensive care
- On-Site Staff: Trained support staff are available around the clock to assist with daily needs, ensure safety, and provide supervision as required
- Personalized Care Plans: Each resident receives a customized care plan tailored to their specific needs, ensuring that the right level of support is provided
- Personal Care: Assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure that residents maintain their health and well-being
- Medication Management: Staff help residents with medication administration, including reminders and monitoring to ensure compliance with prescribed treatments
- Meal Preparation and Planning: Staff prepare and serve balanced meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of each resident * assistance with meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking for residents who are able to participate in these activities
- Housekeeping and laundry services: Regular cleaning and maintenance of living spaces * Assistance with laundry and clothing care
- Rehabilitation Support: Therapeutic activities to maintain or improve physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being, often coordinated with rehabilitation professionals * Ongoing support in developing and maintaining skills for independent living, such as budgeting, cooking, and time management
- Social and recreational activities: social activities, outings, and events to help residents stay connected with the community and prevent social isolation * On-site activities such as games, movie nights, arts and crafts, and exercise classes that foster social interaction and engagement
- Health and Wellness Monitoring: Routine health checks including vital signs, weight, and general well-being * Coordination with healthcare providers including scheduling appointments and transportation
- Emotional and psychological support: Coordination with counseling and psychological support to help residents cope with the emotional challenges of living with a brain injury * Opportunities to connect with other residents who have similar experiences, fostering a sense of community and mutual support
