Service Description: Not for profit social service organization, providing a variety of supported employment, educational, wellness programs and other services
  • Solutions for Youth Project: paid pre-employment program
  • Resource Centre Drop In: providing space and support for persons looking for pre-employment support, career development, job searching and resume building
  • Needle Hunters: Employment opportunities to consumers helping keep City streets and parks safe and free from drug paraphernalia
  • Social Enterprises: Good Nature Groundskeeping, Krackers Katering, Causeway Commercial Cleaning provide employment opportunities and paid industry training and work experience to consumers, in a supported work environment for grounds keeping, catering and cleaning
  • RISE Ottawa: business planning support for entrepreneurs looking for micro-finance loans
  • Wellness program: certified trainer will assist participants in reaching their personal fitness goals in a user friendly low key facility
  • Community Outreach: Supporting individuals looking for employment, connect with services and organizations in the community to meet their needs and reduce barriers

Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals 16 years and older living with mental illness, mental health challenges or other disabilities and those who are economically disadvantaged - unemployed or underemployed persons legally entitled to work in Canada * Youth Program also has age consideration 16-30 years old
