Service Description: Assists mildly developmentally-delayed youths and adults to learn social and recreational skills * Participants, with the help of volunteers, organize their own leisure activities *  Helps participants to gain social skills appropriate to their age group and to manage their social time independently * They learn life skills such as arranging transportation, making reservations, etc

Participants meet once a week with part-time staff and volunteers to plan weekly activities and to socialize



Fees: Membership fees * A nominal fee is charged
Application: Call, leave name and telephone number on the answering machine and the call will be returned * new clients attend one to three meetings at which time a decision is made by the staff and the client as to whether they can become members
Eligibility / Target Population: Mildly developmentally-delayed youth 13-25 years old * those who are slow learners, lack social skills, or have difficulty making friends

* Grad Club: mildly developmentally-delayed persons 25 years and older
