Service Description: Paramedics
  • deliver medical treatment for life-threatening medical emergencies including heart attacks, strokes, respiratory and traumatic injuries
  • a list of locations for the Paramedic Public Access Defibrillator Program can be found online



Fees: Fees vary ; The hospitals are responsible for billing the patient directly for all ambulance transportation * If the ambulance call is deemed unnecessary, the Ontario Health Card will not cover it and the client will have to pay the entire amount
