Service Description:
|
Follows the Headstart program for pre-school children guidelines * provides both indoor and outdoor free play activities and structured learning period * educational field trips and special excursions
Developmental activities:
- gross motor skills through climbing, running, biking
- social skills through cooperative games and sharing of equipment
- physical wellness through fresh air and exercise on daily basis
- appreciation of nature and outdoor environment and observation of the changes such as changing seasons

Set fees * Each licensed Headstart program has full or partial subsidies for families who qualify. Parents may apply for a subsidy through the City of Ottawa Childcare Registry and Waitlist. For help applying for a subsidy, please call or stop by a Headstart
