Service Description:

Welcomes women who have recently arrived in the Ottawa region or who are experiencing life-altering changes such as widowhood, divorce, retirement, etc * designed to help women to meet others with similar interests and to develop friendships through a variety of activities
Activities: gallery and museum tours * golf * bridge * scrabble * crafts * dining out * book discussions * movie group * historical site visits, etc

$30 annual membership fee

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Women who are new to the Ottawa area within the previous 2 years or who have experienced a significant life change such as widowhood, divorce, retirement, etc * Members usually join within the first year of residence and may belong for four years with an option to stay for a fifth * After this, members may decide to join the Ottawa Newcomers Alumni Club
